 Come
& Try Day and
Charity Event - 7th & 8th August
HVORRA
Come & Try Day is being held on the 7th August for HVORRA
Club Members, this is a chance for them to give their
Sponsors, pit crew, friends, relatives a ride in their
cars.
Entry
Forms for the Come & Try Day are being sent to those
members who have indicated that they wish to attend.
The day
will start with scrutineering at 9am, 9.30 am Drivers
briefing and the Event starts at 10am. The Drivers will
be responsible for supplying the correct helmet for the
passenger/s in their cars, and to make sure their
passengers have been informed of the correct clothing to
wear. (this is on the Entry Form and any person not
dressed correctly will not be allowed in the car) PLEASE
REMEMBER; ONLY THOSE OVER 12 YEARS OF AGE ARE ALLOWED TO
GET IN THE CARS, and PROOF OF AGE WILL BE REQUIRED.
Any
Money raised on the day will go to Camp Quality and
Witmore Enterprise.
There
will be food and drinks (Tea/Coffee/soft drinks/water)
for sale on the day.
On
Sunday the 8th the
Charity Day will be held, Coal & Allied have once again been generous
and have agreed to sponsor this day for which our
members are truly grateful, the support from Coal &
Allied provides us with the funds to purchase shirts for
the Children and their families that will be attending
and also assists us with the purchasing of the
refreshments and lunch items for the day. Steven Cox has
kindly offered us 100 hot dog rolls and at the time of
writing this we are waiting confirmation on the supply
of sausages.
It is
hoped that the drivers attending the Come & Try Day (
and they have all indicated that they will be in
attendance) will be there to give the Children ( only
those over 12 years of age) and their family a ride in
their cars. At this Stage we have confirmation of 51
from Camp quality and 15 from Wetmore Enterprises.
Refreshments and Lunch will be provided free of charge
to all those attending and helping on this day. That
means everyone, the families, the Recovery, the drivers,
Officials etc
We can
only hope now that the weather will be kind to us and
that everyone has an enjoyable weekend
