The annual Hedweld Milbrodale Mountain Classic Off Road Racing event is fast approaching. This year’s event will be conducted on the 2nd & 3rd July and will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of this local spectacular action packed event. It is Round 4 of the NSW Off Road Championship, Round 1 of the Premier NSW Long Course Championship and Round 2 of the East Coast Tri Challenge. This prestigious local event has been run for 30 years and has become one of the most significant events on the NSW Off Road Racing Calendar. The Hedweld Milbrodale Mountain Classic is run by the Hunter Valley Off Road Racing Association who are anticipating a large field of local and interstate entrants this year to see who can win the very sort after award of MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN!!

Oakville Volunteer Fire Brigade is 70 years old as a brigade & are working to making this years event a special part of this.
Hoping to see you there with your toy of choice to help make our day another beauty. We have organised the venue and have had a short word to the weather God and I'm sure he said the weather would be great for our day. Spread the word; bring a friend with their toy. With your help we hope to make this years the best yet. This year’s Car Show & Fun Day again, has all the fun of the fair with all sorts of rides for the youngsters & the young at heart plus all sorts of vehicles from all eras. What will be the People’s Choice this year? With the line-up of cars including Off Road Buggies & Trucks, Micro Cars, Motor Cycles (Indian, Moto Guzzi, Vintage Japanese etc.) Morris Minors , Datsun’s , Anglia’s, Prefect’s , Ford GT’s , Holden HSV Club cars,, Mustangs, Chevy Classics , Dodges, Valliant’s, VWs ,Ute’s, you name it, even Buses . Most of these vehicles and machines call the Hawkesbury, Nepean Valley home plus some from surrounding areas and it is the best chance to get a look at some pretty amazing toys locally in the one place. This year it we are expecting more of the later model modified cars to make their presence felt.The double Decker Buses will be taking the younger children for maybe their first ride, & the older ones (30 & over) to days gone by.There will be Trike rides as well. As you may be aware, the second CAMS Member Information Night for 2016 is being held in Sydney (Mascot) on the evening of Thursday 16 June 2016.
