contactPlease be advised that there is a CAMS Silver Module being run at Wakefield Park (Goulburn / Tirrannaville) on Saturday 4 November 2017. This Module is scheduled to commence at 9:00 a.m. & run until roughly 6:00 p.m.
A Silver Module is a generic module for those CAMS-Accredited Officials who wish to take the next step in upgrading their current Bronze level accreditation. People who hold CAMS Silver level accreditations are able to perform the role that they are accredited in up to (& including) national level events. For example, a person who holds a CAMS Silver Event Command accreditation is eligible to perform the role of Clerk of the Course at a national level CAMS-permitted event in any discipline (e.g. rally, off road, race, etc.). In order to obtain a Silver level accreditation, a person would need to currently hold a Bronze level accreditation, successfully complete the Silver Module & undertake & pass an event assessment for their specialisation (e.g. Scrutineering) within four (4) years of successfully completing the Silver Module. Should people within your club wish to register to attend this upcoming training module, please direct them to the following link:- https://www.cams.com.au/get-involved/officials/training If you wish to discuss this matter in further detail, please feel free to contact Shawn Fitzgerald on 02 87361219 or 0488 081882.
